MultiLing Keyboard costs you nothing to try out on the Android, and it belongs to the Productivity category with the subcategory Cataloging. Originally, Honso created this keyboard, and anyone with an Android 2.1 or higher can use it to exchange messages with their friends from other countries. This all-in-one lightweight keyboard does not need permission from the internet to be used, and there is no sensitive data or password information being sent out like with other keyboards. Some of the things included in this software are:

  • Emojis. emoticons and kaomoji
  • Extraordinarily customizable
  • Tons of layouts

MultiLing keyboard includes a variety of things from the input with unicode to the numpad and symbols keyboard. You can also use auto correction so that you can blind type and make approximate guesses. Other excellent features of this keyboard include word learning, multi-touch, ICS tested and a translator. You can switch fast to new languages when you're bilingual, multilingual or a polyglot. The keyboard supports a long list of languages, and it's safe to say if you speak one of the major languages, you will be able to use it.

One of the best keyboards for people who are low on RAM, you can customize it as needed, and you have emoji support for phones that use Jellybean like the Galaxy S2. It would, however, be nice if the designers imported a personalized dictionary from other keyboards because this is sorely missed, but overall, it's a great app. There have been complaints on how the app misses letters when you type. Other times, it jumps over to the other letter next to it, which can be extraordinarily obnoxious, but if you don't use it for a typing job or things like that, you can still manage this without a problem.

A lot of people have commented how this is the only keyboard that uses arrow keys closer to the bottom. This makes it much easier to correct words in text. If you want a stylish keyboard, then you may want to continue your search elsewhere because you have more aesthetically pleasing choices, but the MultiLing Keyboard definitely gets the job done. You don't have to deal with ads and because this keyboard does not have access to the internet, it doesn't collect your data while typing like many of the less scrupulous choices on the market.

Be aware that you have to first select the language before you can type in it. Otherwise, you will not see the language, and it will appear as empty boxes. If you're typing with other people, they will also need the font and language support to type this way.
